Novelist and screenwriter Maria Semple's second novel, “Where’d You Go, Bernadette,” follows her first — “This One is Mine” set in Los Angeles. The new book, set in Seattle, provides a satirical look at modern parenting, teen angst and technology. Semple will meet Printers Row members at a special reception at 6:30 p.m. before the event begins at 7 p.m. at Tribune Tower. Tickets are $15 apiece, but Printers Row members can get in for free by entering the promotional code "FreeTicket" with their membership number at checkout.
