Transient Artisan Ales' owner/brewer Chris Betts will tap some of his favorite brews and talk about his farmhouse ales at 7 p.m. Thursday at Fountainhead, 1970 W. Montrose Ave.

Betts' use of open-fermentation produces ales influenced by the local environment. Taste the difference in brews like Verte (a sour saison) and Blueberry Obelus Galazy (steeped with freeze-dried blueberries and blueberry tea).
