Family Nutrition & Wellness Fair

The Northeastern Illinois University El Centro Campus, 3119 N. Pulaski Road, will host a Family Health & Wellness Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 26.

The purpose of the event, according to NEIU, "is to provide the community with free, accessible, practical, and bilingual information on various health topics affecting Latinos today with a focus in nutrition education and physical activity awareness."

Free health screenings will also be available.

The Fair is part of NEIU El Centro campus' Community Education Program, "which seeks to inform, educate, and empower Latinos living in the Hermosa, Avondale, and North Logan
Square communities."
