Art Opening: "Wicker Park After Dark" at Jackson Junge Gallery

“Wicker Park After Dark,” a solo exhibit showcasing photographs by David Szpunar, kicks off with an opening reception from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Jackson Junge Gallery, 1389 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Szpunar's “Wicker Park after Dark,” was inspired by Brassai's “Paris by Night,” and captures the energy, drama, and mystery of the weekend revelers, according to a news release issued by the gallery.

Jackson Junge Gallery features the work of Laura Lee Junge and other contemporary Chicago artists. The gallery is open every day of the week. Hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday- Saturday and Noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
