CHICAGO — Police are looking for a man who tried to lure an 11-year-old boy in West Lawn Monday by claiming his mother asked him to pick up the victim from school.
The incident occurred 3:15 p.m. Monday in the 4700 block of West Marquette Road.
The man man pulled his van or SUV over to the sidewalk and told the boy several times his mother asked him to pick him up from school.
The boy walked away and the man drove off.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s with balding blond or brown hair. He also had facial hair. His vehicle was a dirty gray van or SUV.
