ROSELAND — The innermost southbound lane of the Dan Ryan Expy. near 95th Street now will remain closed until 6 a.m. Nov. 13, according to the CTA.

CTA spokeswoman Irene Ferradaz said construction of the 95th Street Red Line terminal is keeping the lane closed. It was supposed to reopen at 10 p.m. Sunday. The innermost northbound lane will reopen as scheduled at 5 a.m. Nov. 22, she said.

Both innermost lanes are next to CTA’s Red Line tracks and will be closed from 87th Street to just south of 95th Street, Ferradaz said.

The project has snarled weekday commutes since earlier this month.

The lane closures are part of $280 million upgrade to the South Side rail station and bus terminal. Construction began in late 2014, and the station has remained open during the project.

The south terminal is scheduled to be completed early next year, and the north terminal will be ready late next year, CTA officials have said.

The 95th Street terminal was built in 1969.
