CHICAGO — A man is dead after he was shot in his head and his car flipped over in Austin Tuesday morning, police said.
At 8:24 a.m., the man, in his 30s, was inside a car in the 5300 block of West Monroe Street when someone in another car shot at him, police said.
The victim's car then crashed, flipping over, police said. He was taken to Loretto Hospital where he died.
Another person in the victim's car was unhurt, according to police.
No one is in custody.
