Pilsen Shooting Wounds 3 Men In Vacant Lot Thursday Evening, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in a vacant lot in Pilsen wounded three men Thursday evening, police said.

At 6:41 p.m. Thursday, the three men, ages 44, 49 and 52, were standing in the lot in the 1700 block of West 17th Street when an unknown attacker fired shots in their direction, police said. 

The 52-year-old man was shot in his back and taken to Stroger Hospital.

The 49-year-old man was shot in his arm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.

The 44-year-old man was grazed in his arm and treated on the scene, according to police. 

The shooter fled east on 17th Street, police said. No one is in custody.
