Randolph Station Demolition To Snarl 'L' Service In Loop All Weekend

THE LOOP — Allow extra time if your weekend plans include traveling to or from the Loop on the "L" this weekend.

Due to demolition work on the defunct Randolph/Wabash station, the CTA will reroute trains Downtown from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.

The Brown, Green, Orange and Pink Lines will be affected (see map), with no service to any of the elevated stations on Wabash or Lake:

• Brown and Orange Line trains will operate as one route between Wells and Van Buren.

• Green Line trains will operate between Harlem and 63rd via Wells and Van Buren.

• Pink Line trains will operate between 54th/Cermak and Polk, then to Racine Blue Line for service to and from downtown. Click here for additional detail on Pink Line options.
