CHICAGO — A shooting in South Chicago killed a male Monday afternoon, police said.
At 2:35 p.m. Monday, the person was shot when two people walked by him in the 3000 block of East 80th Street, police said.
The victim, who police couldn't provide an exact age for, was shot in his head and elsewhere on his body, police said.
The male was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he died, police said.
