McKinley Park Home Break-Ins Prompt Police Warning

MCKINLEY PARK — Police are asking McKinley Park residents to be on the lookout after a string of home burglaries in the area.

There have been at least four burglaries in the neighborhood since Oct. 5, police said in a community alert. In the incidents, the burglars enters though an unlocked door or force their way in and steal property from inside, police said.

The incidents happened at:

• 11:38 a.m. Oct. 5 in the 3700 block of South Wolcott Avenue

• Between 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 3600 block of South Honore Street

• 5:35 a.m. Oct. 16 in the 3800 block of South Damen Avenue

• 10:40 a.m. Oct. 17 in the 3200 block of South Paulina Avenue

Anyone with information on the cases is asked to call area detectives at 312-747-8382.
