HYDE PARK — 57th Street Books is offering something spooky to do for kids who are looking for Halloween activities a little early.
The bookstore, 1301 E. 57th St., will have scary story readings and sing-alongs, host in-store trick-or-treating and brew a sickening stew from 4-6 p.m. Saturday.
Costumes are encouraged — and book-related costumes strongly encouraged — but not required.
The event is free and open to all kids.
