1 Killed, 10 Wounded In Chicago Shootings Since Saturday Morning

CHICAGO — One person was killed and 10 wounded in shootings citywide since Saturday morning.

A man was shot to death in South Chicago Saturday evening.

• In Brighton Park at 5:35 a.m. Sunday, a 27-year-old man was shot while in the 4700 block of South Western Avenue.

He took himself to Mercy Hospital and was later transferred to Stroger Hospital.

• In Roseland at 1035 p.m. Saturday, a man in his 30s was shot in the 200 block of West 109th Place.

Police found him sitting on a porch shot in his right leg. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center.

Police say he is being "highly uncooperative."

• In Washington Heights at 11 p.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in his buttocks while he was standing in an alley in the 9800 block of South Carpenter Street.

He took himself to Little Company of Mary Hospital.

• In North Lawndale at 10:10 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in his right foot in the 3100 block of West Roosevelt Road near Douglas Park.

He refused medical attention and police say he was being uncooperative.

• In West Pullman at 6:58 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in his chest in the 12300 block of South Lowe Avenue.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition.

• In Austin at 6:21 p.m., a 50-year-old man was shot in a drive-by while walking in the 5500 block of West Corcoran Avenue.

Someone shot at him from a gray sedan.

The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition after being shot in his chest.

• In North Lawndale at 3:56 p.m., two men were shot in a drive-by in the 1100 block of South Whipple Street.

A 26-year-old man was in good condition at Stroger Hospital after being shot in his leg.

A 46-year-old man took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition after being shot in his abdomen.

• In North Lawndale at 11:17 a.m., two men were shot in a drive-by while standing outside in the 1300 block of South Millard Avenue.

An 18-year-old man was shot in his shoulder. A 22-year-old man was shot in his ankle. Both are in good condition at Stroger.

No one is in custody for any of the shootings.
