CHICAGO — A 21-year-old man was shot to death in Englewood on Thursday morning, police said.
At 9:18 a.m., the man was standing with a woman in the 200 block of West 69th Street when a man walked up to them, police said. The two men got into an argument and the other man took out a gun and shot at the 21-year-old.
The 21-year-old was hit in his chest and back. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said. He was later pronounced dead.
No one was in custody.
