West Humboldt Park Shooting Wounds 2 Men

CHICAGO — Two men were shot in West Humboldt Park on Tuesday night, police said.

At 8:59 p.m., the men were inside a car in the 900 block of North Hamlin Avenue when someone in a silver-colored car fired shots at them, police said.

The 26-year-old man was hit multiple times throughout his body and he was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition. The 31-year-old man was hit in his right buttocks, hip and groin and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
