CHICAGO — A 17-year-old was shot in McKinley Park on Tuesday night, police said.
At 11:30 p.m., the teen was in the 3700 block of South Hoyne Avenue when he was shot in his left hand, police said.
The teen was taken to Mercy Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
Police weren't sure what led up to the shooting and said the teen might have shot himself.
No one was in custody.
