Portage Park Shooting Wounds Man

CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Portage Park on Monday, police said.

At 7:15 p.m., the man was in the 5000 block of West Roscoe Street when he was shot in his side, leg and arm, police said.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The shooting was possibly gang-related, a police source said.

No one was in custody. No further information was immediately available.
