Devon Caffie, 22, Dead After Shooting In South Shore

CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man was shot to death in South Shore on Sunday morning, police said.

At 11:10 a.m., the man was walking in the 6700 block of South Jeffery Boulevard when two people got out of a Ford and fired shots at him, police said.

The man was hit in his chest and arm and in the back of his head, police said.

Devon Caffie, of the 10200 block of South Calumet Avenue, was pronounced dead at 11:38 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

The gunmen wore gray clothing, police said. No one was in custody.
