CHICAGO — A 27-year-old man was shot in West Humboldt Park on Saturday, police said.
At 2:31 p.m., the man was outside in the 4500 block of West Augusta Boulevard when a white or silver-colored SUV drove up to him and a person in the car fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his leg and he was taken to Stroger Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
The people in the car drove away after the shooting, police said. No one was in custody.
