CHICAGO — A 26-year-old woman was shot to death in Roseland early Sunday, police said.
At 12:01 a.m., officers were called to the 9600 block of South Forest Avenue because there were reports a woman had been shot, police said.
The woman was found on a front porch, police said. She'd been shot in her head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Simone McKay, of the 9600 block of South Sangamon, was pronounced dead at 12:13 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
No further information was immediately available.
