CHICAGO — A 52-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Back of the Yards on Friday night, police said.
At 8:15 p.m., the man was sitting in a parked car in an alley in the 4400 block of South Marshfield Avenue when someone fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his chest and he took himself to Stroger Hospital, police said.
Victor Carrillo, of the same block as where he was shot, was pronounced dead at 8:52 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
The shooting was possible gang-related, a police source said.
