CHICAGO — Mask-wearing robbers hit twice in Hyde Park and Kenwood over the weekend, police said.
The robbers walked up to victims and demanded their property, according to a Chicago Police community alert. During one of the crimes, the robber was armed with a gun. In one of them, the robber wore a skeleton ski mask, police said.
The robberies occurred at:
• 3:45 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of East 47th Street
• 8:25 p.m. Sunday in the 5000 block of South Cornell Avenue
