CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man crashed a stolen car while speeding in Grand Crossing late Wednesday, police said.
At 11:48 p.m., officers saw a driver speeding and gave out a description of the car, police said. Other officers then saw the driver lose control and crash into another car in the 7600 block of South State Street. After the crash, investigators learned the speeding car had been stolen.
The driver of the speeding car, a 37-year-old man, was taken into custody, police said. His passenger, an 18-year-old man, was taken to St. Bernard hospital for observation.
The driver of the car hit in the crash, a 24-year-old man, was also taken to St. Bernard Hospital for observation, police said.
