LINCOLN SQUARE — For more than a decade, Midnight Circus has enchanted audiences with its "little big top" production, while also raising nearly $1 million for Chicago's parks.
Now the Circus is turning its attention to another cause — the relief efforts to aid Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria.
A special show, set for Oct. 12, has been added to the Circus schedule in Welles Park.
One hundred percent of the gate and net concessions will be donated to the American Red Cross of Chicago's Hurricane Maria relief fund, organizers have announced.
All the performers and support staff involved with the show are donating their time.
Tickets are $25 and can be bought online. Showtime is 7 p.m. at the park 2333 W. Sunnyside Ave.
The regularly scheduled Midnight Circus shows in Welles Park — Oct. 13-15 — are sold out.
