ANDERSONVILLE — A new men's lifestyle shop is heading to Andersonville just off Clark Street.

Cowboys and Astronauts plans to open in the former Scrub-A-Dub Dub space at 1478 W. Summerdale Ave. on Nov. 11, according to a press release.

The business is described as "a men's lifestyle and supplies store that celebrates the well-lived life by supporting authentic individualism, everyday adventure, and meaningful connections to the world around us."

In store and online products include "a unique and curated blend of home goods, apparel, accessories, travel goods, grooming products, and gifts," according to a release.

The store was founded by life partners and Andersonville residents Matthew Buccilla and Greg Lanier. The duo hopes to offer a fresh spin on men's lifestyle concept, which the neighborhood lacks, the release said.

"Greg and I really believe that great products help remind us that there are opportunities for joy and adventure in life’s everyday moments. Ultimately, like the inspirational icons we named the store after, we hope our customers use our products to be their best selves," said Buccilla, who will be handling the day-to-day operations.

Every Wednesday, ahead of the grand opening, Cowboys and Astronauts will be revealing products via storefront signage and social media, the release said.
