CHICAGO — Police are looking for two people who they said fired shots at officers in West Humboldt Park on Thursday night.
At 9:03 p.m., officers were called to the 1300 block of North Hamlin Avenue for a report of shots being fired, police said. The officers saw two people firing at something, but as officers approached the two ran off and fired shots at the officers.
Officers shot back, police said. No one was hit by gunfire.
Two guns were found, but police are still looking for the two people who fired shots at the officers.
No description of the two was immediately available.
