CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot in Portage Park early Thursday, police said.
At 12:52 a.m., the man was arguing with someone in the 5700 block of West Irving Park Road when the other person took out a gun and shot the man, police said.
The man was hit multiple times in his stomach and lower body. He was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody.
