Heart Of Chicago Shooting Wounds Man

CHICAGO — A shooting in Heart of Chicago left a 48-year-old man wounded on Sunday afternoon, police said.

At 3:28 p.m., the man was in the 2300 block of South Leavitt Street when someone in a dark-colored minivan fired shots at him, police said.

The man was hit in his upper back and he was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
