7 Motorcycles Stolen On North Side In Last Month, Police Say

LAKEVIEW — Seven motorcycle thefts have been reported in the Town Hall Police District on the city's North Side since Aug. 17, police said.

In these incidents, the motorcycles were taken while legally parked in the late evening and overnight hours in Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Ravenswood, Roscoe Village and Uptown, police said. No description of the thief or thieves is available.

The thefts occurred at:

• 8 p.m. Aug. 17 in the 2100 block of West Melrose Street
• Between 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. Aug. 27-28 in the 4700 block of North Ravenswood Avenue
• Between 10 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. Aug. 30-31 in the 4600 block of North Clarendon Avenue
• Between 11 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 3600 block of North Pine Grove Avenue
• Between 9:30 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. Sept. 6-7 in the 2700 block of North Magnolia Avenue
• Between 12:01 and 8 a.m. Sept. 13 in the 2200 block of West Fletcher Street
• 8:40 p.m. Sept. 16 in the 2400 block of North Cannon Drive
