BRIDGEPORT — Area residents are asked to be on the lookout following a string of burglaries in the area.
At least four burglaries have been reported in the area since Wednesday, police said in two community alerts issued Sunday. In the incidents, one or more burglars gains entry to a home and steals property from within, police said.
The incidents occurred:
• Between 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday in the 5200 block of Sout Laflin Street
• At 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 4400 block of South Princeton Avenue
• Between 7:50 a.m.-2:28 p.m. Friday in the 4400 block of South Wells Street
• About 1 a.m. Saturday in the 5200 block of South Green Street
