WICKER PARK — The traveling Midnight Circus returns to Wicker Park's namesake park this weekend.

The family-friendly outdoor shows are at 7 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 1425 N. Damen Ave. in Wicker Park, just south of the CTA Damen "L" station.

Saturday's 5 p.m. show is sold out, but walk-ups will be admitted if there is space, according to the circus' website.

Tickets — $20 for adults — tickets can be bought here. Children under age 2 get in free.

Proceeds from the five weekend shows and profits from advertising sales in the program booklet will benefit improvements in the park's gardens, a community-funded ice skating rink, returning for its third year this winter, and a summer event series which includes weekly yoga and classical music performances during the Sunday farmers market.
