CHICAGO — At least five home burglaries were reported in Belmont Cragin between Aug. 11 and Tuesday, according to a police alert issued Thursday.
In each case, someone broke into a house and stole jewelry, cash or computers, police said.
The burglaries were reported at the following times and locations:
• Between 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Aug. 11 in the 2200 block of North Marmora Avenue
• At 6:50 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 2600 block of North Marmora Avenue
• Between noon-2 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 2300 North Menard Avenue
• Between 1-6:30 p.m. Monday in the 2500 block of North Marmora Avenue
• Between 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of North Menard Avenue
