CHATHAM — The 6th Ward is holding a free shred-a-thon Sept. 22 for anyone needing to dispose of important documents and paperwork.
The event, sponsored by Ald. Roderick Sawyer, will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
People, businesses excluded, can bring their paper to the parking lot at 215 W. 71st St. Documents like old bills, bank statements, junk mail, tax returns and outdated medical records will be accepted.
