CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded seven since Tuesday morning, police said. 

• At 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, a 23-year-old man was shot to death in Ashburn.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, a 32-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk with a group of people in the 5400 block of West Rice Street when someone in a passing car fired shots.

The man was hit in his chest and right leg and he was taken to Loyola Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The attackers were in a white car, police said.

• At 9:22 p.m., a 14-year-old boy was shot when a bullet went through a home in West Humboldt Park.

• At 5:30 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in West Pullman, police said. The man was walking in the 12800 block of South Union Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his arm and he took himself to Metro South Medical Center, police said. His condition was not immediately available.

• At 4:40 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Altgeld Gardens, police said. The man was in the 700 block of East 132nd Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his hand and he took himself to Roseland Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 3:57 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was walking in the first block of North Lavergne Avenue when someone in a car pulled up and fired shots.

The man was hit in his back and buttocks and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 3:03 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham, police said. The man was standing in the 1200 block of West 81st Street when someone in a dark-colored, four-door car pulled up and fired shots.

The man was hit in his hand and he was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 12:35 p.m., a 40-year-old man was shot in Roseland, police said. The man was in the first block of East 102nd Place when he was shot in his back.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No further information was immediately available.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
