ARMOUR SQUARE — Tickets for Chicago's newest music fest will go on sale Friday.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster for the "Get IN It" music fest, a hip-hop heavy festival to be held at Guaranteed Rate Field, concert organizers said.

The music fest will be all day Sept. 16 at the ballpark at 333 W. 35th St. In part, it is produced by Get IN Chicago, an organization that counsels community-based groups and funds anti-violence initiatives focused on the most at-risk kids in the city.

A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Get IN Chicago, and the festival will have a message of violence prevention and empowerment of Chicago's youths, organizers said. Ticket prices will range from $35-$150.

Headlining the festival will be Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Fifth Harmony, Fat Joe and Chicago native stars Lupe Fiasco and Jeremih. Celebrities and local athletes will make surprise appearances and will promote the event.
