CHICAGO — The 8th Annual Festival Cubano is set to transform Riis Park, 6100 W. Fullerton Ave., into a mosaic of Latino-Caribbean art, food and music this weekend.

Spread across two stages, the music line-up includes dozens of groups and DJs spanning from old-school bachata to thumping reggaeton and chart-topping house music.

The festival boasts more than 100 vendors offering "a wide variety of Cuban and Latin American dishes," plus a beer lounge and rows of arts-and-crafts booths, organizers said.

Visitors can also enter a dominoes tournament, join a music workshop or sample from a "hand-rolled cigar bar."

Kids can hop on carnival rides or mount a camel or pony at the petting zoo, which is also set to include a kangaroo and a white tiger.

The Festival Cubano will be open from 4-10 p.m. Friday, and noon-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are available online. Attendees can buy single-day passes for $15 or three-day passes for $30. Pricier VIP tickets also are being sold.
