CHICAGO — A man accidentally shot himself in Rogers Park early Monday, police said.
At 12:51 a.m., the 20-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 7500 block of North Ashland Avenue, handling a gun, when the gun went off, police said. The man was hit in his right foot.
The man took himself to St. Francis Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
