Near North Side Shooting Wounds 2 Men, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting on the Near North Side wounded two men on Sunday night, police said.

At 7:56 p.m., a 33-year-old man and 26-year-old man were driving in the 1000 block of North Clark Street when they heard shots and felt pain, police said.

The 33-year-old man was hit in his side and his leg and the 26-year-old was hit in his leg. The two took themselves to Northwestern Hospital. The older man was in critical condition, and the younger man's condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
