CHICAGO — More rainstorms could be coming this weekend.

Friday is expected to be dry, though the skies will be partly cloudy, said Charles Mott, a National Weather Service meteorologist. The day will start off cooler and temperatures will only hit the low 70s.

There also will be brisk winds, reaching 15-25 mph Friday, Mott said.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy in the morning, but the skies will be sunnier by afternoon, Mott said. Temperatures will hit the upper 70s, but there's a chance for rain at night.

Sunday also will be cloudy with a chance of daytime showers and thunderstorms, Mott said. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid 70s before falling during the night, when more showers and thunderstorms are possible.

The normal high temperature for this time of year is 83 degrees, Mott said.
