DOWNTOWN — Two days of stormy weather in Chicago and New York means The Pretty Reckless have had to cancel their shows for Lollapalooza.

The band, fronted by "Gossip Girl" actress Taylor Momsen, was set to play an official after party Thursday before taking the stage at Lolla on Friday. Momsen tweeted on Friday morning the band hadn't been able to fly to Chicago due to "two days straight of [canceled] flights."

Lollapalooza confirmed the band's show was canceled "due to weather-related travel issues" and the festival revised its schedule. Lorde had her own set cut short Thursday amid severe thunderstorms Downtown.

But Lorde and The Pretty Reckless aren't the only ones locked out of Lolla due to the weather: People have been tweeting about missing the festival (or having to drive there) due to canceled flights.

O'Hare and Midway had seen 214 flights canceled by 12:30 p.m. Friday. The city's been hit by cloudy skies and scattered storms since the festival began Thursday, and more rain is possible this weekend.
