CHICAGO — Two people have rammed U-Haul trucks into businesses so they can burglarize them, police said.

During two recent burglaries, the thieves rammed the trucks into overhead doors at businesses, causing damage that allowed the thieves to get in and take "industrial tools," according to a Chicago Police business alert.

Both burglaries occurred blocks apart in East Garfield Park:

• 3:10 a.m. July 8 in the 200 block of North Fairfield Avenue

• 2:02 p.m. July 22 in the 200 block of North Mozart Street

There was no detailed description of the burglars.
