CHICAGO — Shootings have killed three people and wounded five since Monday morning, police said.
• At 10:20 p.m. Monday, a 20-year-old man was shot to death in Park Manor. A woman was wounded in the attack.
• At 10:10 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot and killed in Chicago Lawn. Another man, 26, was wounded in the shooting.
• At 11:10 p.m. Monday, a 43-year-old man was shot dead in Austin.
In non-fatal shootings:
• At 9:40 p.m. Monday, two 26-year-old men were shot in Auburn Gresham, police said. The men were standing on the sidewalk in the 1600 block of West 78th Street when a tan- or gold-colored van pulled up and four people with guns got out and fired shots.
One of the men was hit in his left arm and had a bullet graze his right arm, and the other man had his right leg grazed by a bullet, police said. The two were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where their conditions were not available but they were listed as "stable," police said.
The attackers got back into the van and drove away, going west on 78th Street, police said.
• At 3:02 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Belmont Cragin, police said. The man was walking in the 5600 block of West Palmer Street when a blue car drove up and someone inside fired shots.
The man was hit in his right foot and he took himself to Community First Hospital in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
