CHICAGO — A 40-year-old man was shot to death in Auburn Gresham on Friday afternoon has been identified as Dante Neely.
About 4:40 p.m., the man was found in the 8300 block of South Hamilton Avenue, police said. He had been shot in his head and chin.
Neely, of the 8500 block of South Paulina, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
No one was in custody.
