CHICAGO — Police are looking for information in the fatal shooting of a 60-year-old man and Marine veteran Saturday in Garfield Park.
At 4:57 a.m., the man was walking from his home to get dialysis treatment when someone walked up to him in the 400 block of North Kedzie Avenue, police said. The person took out a gun and told the 60-year-old to hand over his wallet.
The man refused and the robber shot the man, killing him, police said. The robber then ran away, going east on Franklin Boulevard.
