BRIDGEPORT — Neighborhood families are invited to take in an animated movie in one of the newest public spaces along the Chicago River.

The Chicago Park District's popular Movies in the Park series is screening "Zootopia" on Tuesday at Park No. 571, also known as the Eleanor Street Boathouse, 2828 S. Eleanor St. The movie will begin at 8:15 p.m. and is slated to run until about 10 p.m., according to the park district.

Glow sticks, popcorn and other refreshments will be sold on site, but neighbors are asked to bring a blanket and anything else they might need to enjoy a night in the park. The event is free.

"Zootopia" is a critically acclaimed Disney movie about a city of animals and a rabbit police officer searching for some missing citizens.

This is the first and only movie screening at one of Chicago's newest parks. Bridgeport parks will host three other screenings this season: "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be shown Saturday at Bosley Park, 3044 S. Bonfield St., and "Rogue One" will be shown Aug. 23 at McGuane Park, 2901 S. Poplar Ave.
