CHICAGO — Shootings have killed two people and wounded six since Wednesday, police said.

• At 12:20 a.m. Thursday, a 28-year-old man was gunned down in North Lawndale.

• At 12:52 p.m. Wednesday, a 25-year-old man was shot to death in North Lawndale.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 2:40 a.m. Thursday, a 23-year-old man was shot in Roseland, police said. The man was standing in the street in the 11200 block of South Indiana Avenue when someone fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his left arm and he took himself to Roseland Community Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 2:20 a.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham, police said. The man was standing in the street in the 7900 block of South Emerald Avenue when someone fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his abdomen and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 2:15 a.m., a 39-year-old man was shot in Grand Crossing, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 7600 block of South South Chicago Avenue when someone walked up to him, took out a gun and fired shots.

The man was hit in his left foot and he took himself to Jackson Park Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 10 p.m. Wednesday, a 26-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham, police said. The man was in the 7800 block of South Hermitage Avenue when his left wrist was grazed by a bullet and his head was hit by something, causing blunt trauma.

The man took himself to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

The man was uncooperative with investigators, a police source said, and no further information was immediately available.

• At 9:40 p.m., a 33-year-old man was wounded by a shooting in Chicago Lawn, police said. The man was in the street in the 6400 block of South Richmond Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man's head was grazed by a bullet and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

• At 9:08 p.m., a 48-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 700 block of South Francisco Avenue when several people in a silver-colored car pulled up and fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his leg and buttocks and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
