CHICAGO — A man was shot with a pellet gun while getting on a Red Line train at 79th Station on Tuesday, police said.
At 11:10 p.m., the man was getting on a train at the station in the 7900 block of South State Street when someone shot at him with a pellet gun, police said.
The man was hit in his neck and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was treated and released, police said.
No one was in custody.
