AUBURN GRESHAM — An armed robber — presumably hungry for pizza — has been calling in orders in Auburn Gresham, according to the Chicago Police Department.

Police in the Morgan Park District issued a business alert after two such incidents where the robber orders pizza to be delivered between 7-9 p.m. to the intersection at 8800 S. Hermitage Ave.

Delivery drivers were met by the man, who then pulled out a handgun and demanded the food. The robber was described as a black man ages 18-20  with a dark complexion. He stands 5-foot-10 and weighs about 175 pounds, police said.

Business owners who receive orders for deliveries to that location are encouraged to call police. Anyone with more information is asked to call detectives at 312-747-8273.
