CHICAGO — A woman crashed into a Chicago Police car in Brighton Park early Saturday, police said.
At 4:24 a.m., the woman was driving a Nissan in the 2500 block of West Pershing Road when she veered into oncoming traffic and hit a Chicago Police car, police said.
The woman, 30, did not appear to be injured but she was taken to Mercy Hospital "as a precautionary measure," police said. Neither of the two officers who were in the police car appeared to have been injured.
The woman was in custody with charges pending, police said, and officers thought alcohol might have played a role in the crash.
