LINCOLN SQUARE — Family historians interested in unearthing their Chicago roots will want to attend Wednesday's "Genealogy 101" session at the Sulzer Library.
Grace DuMelle, author of "Finding Your Chicago Ancestors," will cover topics including challenges posed by the city's changing street names, and will share tips on overlooked resources such as fire insurance maps and probate case records.
The event will be held 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the library, 4455 N. Lincoln Ave.
